Fashion and textiles graduate of Lithuanian origin, Erika Janavi creates surrealist couture, inspired by Victorian silhouettes and profuse attention to detail. Her style is romantic, playful, elegant and sensual. The designs were constructed almost exclusively from antique & vintage fabrics and trimmings. All materials used to create her wearable art were meticulously sourced worldwide and picked for their quality, condition, uniqueness and of course beauty. Erika’s philosophy and vision is to create garments that are exquisite, evocative & timeless, garments with a classic aesthetic and the appearance of genuine age, yet made with a contemporary eye. All pieces are lovingly hand crafted & embroidered with a strong emphasis on self sustainability.
